What does Port24 look for in our Class-A CDL owner-operator applicants?
2+yrs Class - A CDL
2+yrs of verifiable Class - A CDL driving experience is required.
TWIC Identification Card
Additional compensation for overtime and endorsements.
High school diploma
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
DOT drug screening
A Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) (or recent application) is required.
Endorsements
Hazmat, Tanker, and other endorsements are nice-to-have.
Experience is preferred
Previous intermodal container trucking experience is preferred, and not required as we are willing to train motivated candidates., Tanker, and other endorsements are nice-to-have.

Independent owner-operators driving dray trucks with engines made between 1994 and 2000 may qualify for the federal government’s Truck Replacement Program.
